Ecological Environment Engineering

 

With priority to cultivate specialized talents for ecology and environment protection, the School has one Ph.D program in Ecological Environment Engineering (0713Z5) enrolling ca. 18 students/year.

 

The Ph.D program in Ecological Environment Engineering is devoted to cultivate high-level and research oriented talents. The Ph.D graduates are expected to have authentic passion for environmental protection, firm and comprehensive basic knowledge and profound and systematic specialized knowledge, as well as excellent skills for critical thinking, innovation, and practice. The Ph.D graduates should also be capable to solve and explore the eco-environmental issues, and hold wide international perspectives, strong sense of independence and innovation, and finally be able to work as research scientists, team leaders, and educational administrators, etc.

 

The Ph.D program in Ecological Environment Engineering is committed to fulfill the obligations to cultivate academic specialized personnel for complicated ecological problem solving and therefore have emerged 4 major research directions, including pollution control of water environment and ecological restoration, design and applications of environmental functional materials, resource of solid waste residues and soil remediation, and behavior of emerging contaminants and their control in ecological environment.
